It is possible to rent an LA limousine without a driver but not from a limousine company but from an automotive prop rental company such as Cinema Vehicles or the like.
Los Angeles limousine companies cannot rent limos without drivers due to the restrictions in our commercial out insurance policies. The policies must have a list of drivers that are drug tested and part of the DMV pull notice program.
Of course we recommend renting a limo with a driver so you can enjoy the experience and not have to worry about navigation with a long vehicle in traffic in LA.
In California, the law requires all passengers, including those in limousines, SUVs, Party Buses and taxis, to wear seatbelts. Seatbelt use is mandatory for all occupants of motor vehicles, regardless of the type of vehicle or seating position. This applies to both front and back seats, and failure to wear a seatbelt can result in fines and penalties. It is essential to prioritize safety by buckling up whenever you are traveling in an LA Limo
In LA, limo companies only offer 1 way trips in sedans and SUVs. Larger vehicles such as stretch limousines, sprinter vans, mini coaches, charter buses and party buses are only available on an hourly basis usually with a 4 or 5 hour minimum.

Almost all stretch limousines in Los Angeles are classified as 8 passenger limos. Some companies try to offer an 8 passenger limo for 9 or 10 people and it’s super crowded. There are some lager stretch limos available as well. At Hollywood Town Car, we have 11 passengers stretch limousines which are great for 10 people.
Sprinter Limousines are usually built to fit between 12 and 15 passengers and are considered superior to stretch limousines in almost every way.
Party buses come in much larger sizes and can hold as many as 30 passengers or more.
At Hollywood Town Car and Limousine, all of our drivers wear black suits with ties. If you would like your driver to wear something less formal, please let us know and we would be happy to accommodate your request.
Yes. Sprinters are great for LAX pickups. Unfortunately, the sprinter driver cannot meet you at the baggage claim at LAX as there is no parking for sprinters at LAX. If you need a meet and greet or even a planeside pick up (domestic flights only), Hollywood Town Car can offer a greeter service for an additional cost.

Yes. Only Uber, Lyft and other shared rides must pick up passengers at the LAX-it lot.
Any private vehicle or chartered vehicle can pick you up curbside at the terminal at LAX. This includes Uber black.
Our booking system, drivers and dispatchers track your flight independently. This allows us to be prepared whether your flight is early, late or on time.
In California, it is legal for anyone that is not in the front portion of the car to have an open container in the rear of a legally licensed commercial vehicle such as a taxi or any TCP-licensed vehicle. So yes, you can get your drink on, provided it is safe and of course fun. Again, if any passengers in an LA Limousine are under 21, all alcoholic beverages are prohibited by California law.

We encourage you to bring your own liquor, beer, wine, champagne, or anything else you want to drink in moderation. We can provide these things for you at an additional cost of the beverages and the time it takes to procure them.

In a Los Angeles limousine, anyone in the back seat of a limousine must obey California law. If there are ONLY side-facing seats, then car seats are not required since they can’t install safely and that’s the exception. We always recommend car seats for infants and toddlers for their safety. We can provide car seats for a nominal charge. Just let us know well in advance of your trip.

A limo bus or party bus can be made from either a Coach Bus or a Passenger Bus. These vehicles are taken to a coach works and the interiors are converted into a moving night club for you and your guests. These vehicles can seat as many as 40 passengers safely and comfortably.

A Party Bus starts at $150.00 per hour for smaller vehicles and as much as $250.00 per hour for the largest vehicles. All party and limo buses in Los Angeles have a 5-hour service minimum. We have never heard of anyone offering point to point transfers in LA as the vehicle preparation time is extensive.
The sprinter has become the industry standard for limousines in the past several years for several reasons. The most important to your comfort being that all the passengers can stand in the Sprinter. Sprinter coaches that have been to a coachworks to become retrofitted to be a limousine usually have 7-foot to 8-foot ceilings. This ends the need to slide in and out which separates them from traditional stretch limousines and super-stretch SUVs where guests still need to slide in and out. Yes. Our processor treats debit cards and credit cards exactly the same so debit cards are totally acceptable for your reservation.
All vehicles over 6 passengers require a 50% deposit at the time of booking to reserve the vehicle.
All other LA Limousine trips are charged at the completion of the trip.
